When traveling with an airline the question often becomes what to do with one’s car. Getting to the airport should be easy if one is lucky enough to live local to the airport. Then those who do not live local already had a journey getting to the airport, now a there is a question of car storage. However, because the Birmingham International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the United Kingdom, it does have all the usual on-site and off-site parking options.

The option for Birmingham Airport parking is just like many other airports worldwide. There is parking at the airport but this is always the most expensive option. The next option is parking offsite with an airport parking service. Then there are the hotels that offer a stay and park package.

The Birmingham Airport parking options are three tiered. The best but most expensive option is valet parking, which puts one right at the terminal and no hassles as the car will be parked upon arrival and waiting on return. The next option is short or medium term parking, which puts one in the parking structures with a two minute walk to the terminal. The last option and least expensive of the onsite parking options is long-term parking, which will require a good ten minute walk to the terminals or take a provided bus ride.

Offsite parking and hotel parking packages are available at Birmingham International Airport. It would be best if one booked and searched for these services beforehand and it can be done online.
